LifeShareOK | Organ, Eye and Tissue Donation

Join our Volunteer Program

Volunteer picture at the dia de los muertos celebration.

LifeShare volunteers work within Oklahoma communities to increase the number of people signed up on the donation registry and to raise awareness about the need for more organ, eye and tissue donors. Our volunteers are made up of donor families, transplant recipients, and others who have been inspired by donation or transplantation.

What’s it all about?

Education
Volunteers share accurate information, correct misconceptions and answer questions from the public about organ, eye and tissue donation. To have a successful public education program, LifeShare is dependent on the support of donor family members, transplant recipients and other interested people who volunteer their time.

Inspiration
Volunteers ahre their compelling personal experiences as donor families and transplant recipients with key audiences to underscore the profound human impact of donation.

Registration
Volunteers guide members of the community to register their decision to be an organ, eye and tissue donor and to share this wish with their families.

Volunteers engage with our community around the state at different events such as:
   • Health Fairs
   • Community Events
   • Speaking Engagements
   • Statewide Marketing Efforts
   • Donor Registration Drives
