LifeShare Network is pleased to announce the promotion of Allisen Wayda to Director of Tissue Operations. In this role, Wayda will provide operational leadership and oversight for Tissue Recovery Services and the Donation Services Center, supporting high-quality performance, regulatory excellence and alignment with LifeShare’s mission to save lives and inspire hope through donation.
Wayda joined LifeShare in 2014 after discovering her passion for donation while completing her Certified Surgical Technologist clinical training, where she participated in a LifeShare organ recovery case. Since then, she has dedicated more than 11 years to advancing LifeShare’s tissue operations, serving in multiple roles including Tissue Recovery Technician, Tissue Recovery Coordinator, Tissue Clinical Information Analyst and Manager of Tissue Recovery.
Throughout her career, Wayda has been recognized for her leadership and commitment to excellence, receiving three MTF Biologics Platinum Partner Awards for outstanding performance in tissue operations along with a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the University of Oklahoma College of Professional and Continuing Studies in association with the OU Lean Institute.
