LifeShare Network
To our friends and communities,
I am pleased to share with you our 2025 Annual Report, a reflection of a year defined by growth, resilience and an unwavering commitment to our mission to save lives and inspire hope.
Throughout this past year, we have witnessed extraordinary achievements across the LifeShare Network. Our clinical and administrative teams have continued to set new standards of excellence, maximizing each opportunity to advance our mission. Together, we have navigated a rapidly evolving health care landscape, embraced innovation, and strengthened the systems that make lifesaving transplants possible.
In 2025, we expanded our community partnerships and outreach initiatives, creating more opportunities to engage with our neighbors across Oklahoma, raise awareness of organ, eye and tissue donation, and support all those whose stories remind us why our work matters so deeply. Most importantly, we have continued to honor the selfless generosity of our donor heroes and their families, whose courage and compassion gave another the precious gift of life.
As we look ahead, 2026 marks a momentous milestone: LifeShare’s 40th anniversary. In the new year, we will celebrate our achievements, reflect on our history and prepare for the next chapter. I invite you to stay connected with us, share your stories and join us in renewing our mission with the same passion and purpose that have defined LifeShare for four decades.
On behalf of our team: thank you for your continued trust, partnership and belief in our lifesaving mission. Together, we are offering hope and healing for generations to come.
Each year, LifeShare’s Hospital Development and Family Services team works to build lasting partnerships with our three transplant centers and more than 145 hospitals across Oklahoma. 2025 featured new programs, increased engagement and exciting opportunities:

48 hospitals participated in the 2025 DoNation challenge. This campaign engages workplaces in efforts to improve awareness of organ donation and transplantation and to help our communities register their decision to be organ, eye and tissue donors.

LifeShare Hospital Development offered
eight webinars providing accredited education to hospital staff, including RT, RN
and CEPTC credits.
LifeShare Family Services completed advanced training with the Gift of Life Institute, learning new best practices and trends in the donation and transplantation profession.

LifeShare developed the new Critical Care Committee with physician champions across the state to strengthen relationships between LifeShare and our hospitals.

LifeShare Innovations saw new expansions in 2025, creating new pathways for organ and tissue research. This year, our team:
In 2025, LifeShare saw a landmark accomplishment in their Journey to Excellence, which identifies areas for growth, improvement, and increased efficiency across the organization. The team was awarded the Level 5 Oklahoma State Award for Performance Excellence, the highest recognition in the state for quality which reflects our team’s commitment to providing hope and healing and advancing LifeShare’s mission in service to donors, recipients, partners, and our communities across the state.
In 2025, LifeShare partnered with Stillwater company MaxQ to develop and launch the LifeSafe Shipper, an innovative new organ transportation product. The LifeSafe Shipper features integrated temperature regulation, tracking, and environmental protection measures.
The Transplant Tomorrow Educational Summit connected leading experts in the organ and tissue procurement and transplantation field as they shared their pioneering insights. Attendees had an opportunity to learn about the cutting-edge advancements that are shaping the future of transplant medicine through both lectures and hands-on wet labs.
Our mission to save lives and inspire hope would not be possible without the compassionate gifts of donor heroes and their loved ones. Last year, 1,200 organ and tissue donors saved and healed more than 70,000 lives and offered hope to the more than 800 Oklahomans waiting on a transplant. Stories like Olivia’s continue on through the life they have given to others.
From a young age, Olivia knew she wanted to be on the stage. Her parents say she was a one-of-a-kind old soul, and always had the confidence in herself to pursue her passion for music and art. From the moment she learned to speak, she was singing, a talent that led her to participate in choir and earn a lead role as Anne Frank in her school play. She made friends everywhere she went and had a special gift for making everyone feel seen, needed, accepted and loved. However, it was only discovered after her untimely passing that her greatest and most profound gift would be the legacy she left behind by saving the lives of others.
The LifeShare Network Communications team grew new partnerships and created strategic media campaigns in 2025. Through their efforts, these campaigns helped rural Oklahomans and older Oklahomans understand their impact of being a registered donor. These campaigns reached more than 8.9 million impressions and created a measurable impact in raising the registration rate.
In October, LifeShare’s Communications team was named the 2025 Nonprofit Communications Team of the Year by the Public Relations Society Oklahoma City Chapter. We also received an Award of Merit for Social Media in honor of our “Choices” campaign.
Did you know? More than 97% of people say yes to registering as a donor when asked at the DMV or a Service Oklahoma location.
Our Say “Yes!” to Saving Lives campaign engages driver’s education programs to help students understand the value of donation, address common myths and encourage conversations with their families about registering as an organ, eye and tissue donor.
In 2025, we attended conferences across the state to reach all 237 Service Oklahoma Licensed Operator locations and share materials about organ donation and how to register.
Throughout the year, LifeShare volunteers engage with our communities around the state at health fairs, local events, registration drives, learning opportunities, and more. Many of our volunteers choose to share their personal experiences as donor families, transplant recipients, and living donors, helping our neighbors connect to LifeShare’s work to offer hope and healing throughout Oklahoma.
In 2025, 22 young adults dedicated their time and talents to advancing the mission of the LifeShare Foundation through newly-established Young Professionals and Teen Boards.

In May, LifeShare unveiled its new Donor Memorial. Each name displayed on the Donor Memorial represents the countless heroes from across Oklahoma who gave the gift of life through organ, eye, and tissue donation. The memorial honors all donors and their families, past, present and future, who have made the selfless choice to give hope to others.
The Donor Memorial remains open year-round as a place of reflection, remembrance and gratitude for donors, donor families and the LifeShare community.
In 2025, the LifeShare Foundation raised more than $400,000 to advance awareness, support, and public trust in donation. These funds supported a grant to LifeShare Innovations for the Transplant Tomorrow Summit which educated OPO and transplant professionals to strengthen donation practices, and expanded public awareness efforts. Through this funding, the Foundation also delivered donation education materials and training to Tag Agencies, created pathways for driver’s education programs, and launched campaigns designed to build understanding and trust in organ, eye, and tissue donation
The LifeShare Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness, providing ongoing support for those touched by organ donation and advancing research to honor the gift of life.

The Little Red Heart 5K’s mission is to celebrate life, honor those who were donors, pay tribute to those who received, offer hope to those who continue to wait and remember the lives lost waiting for the gift of life.
